Luxpower Tek Three Phase Trip 20K Hybrid in depth

Luxpower Tek Three Phase Trip 20K Hybrid Overview

Up to 20 Years Warranty

All our LuxPower Controllers come with a comprehensive 12-year manufacturer’s warranty, ensuring that you can rely on the performance and longevity of our products with absolute confidence. At an extra charge, this can be upgraded to 20 years warranty, giving you peace of mind when it comes to your investment.

150% PV over-sizing

The LuxPower Trip20 hybrid inverter is a high-capacity inverter designed to manage both solar power generation and energy storage systems. One of its notable features is the ability to handle 150% PV (photovoltaic) oversizing. PV oversizing refers to installing more solar panel capacity than the inverter’s rated input capacity. In this case, the LuxPower Trip20 hybrid inverter allows for 150% oversizing. This means that if the inverter is rated for a certain capacity (e.g., 20 kW), it can handle solar panels with a combined capacity of up to 30 kW (20 kW x 1.5).

Monitoring

The LuxPower Trip20 Hybrid comes with Free Advanced Monitoring, giving the user a full insight into the system. The platform is an overview of the system performance providing daily, weekly and monthly information.

This allows you to simply change settings such as charge rates and make use of the excellent free Lux programs. The Luxpower monitoring can be viewed via a web portal on PCs and laptops, or on a mobile app for smartphones and tablets.

Advanced Weather Compensation Programming

The LuxPower range now comes with advanced weather compensation, which makes weather predictions. This feature allows users to program night-time grid charging of the controller and batteries based on the following days local weather forecast.

The feature will allow users to operate the battery at its optimum level and increase efficiencies, and as a result save more money.

Grid Charge & Octopus Agile/Outgoing/Go Compatible

New energy providers will now provide extremely cheap off-peak renewable electricity. The LuxPower Trip20 Hybrid can be programmed to take advantage of these cheap off-peak tariffs to charge the batteries to use the energy when the tariffs are high.

20000W Charge + Discharge

To understand the power capabilities of the LuxPower Trip20 Hybrid system, it’s important to look at both the charge and discharge rates as well as the configuration of the batteries used. The LuxPower Trip20 Hybrid is designed with a 50-ampere (A) charge and discharge rate. This means that the system can handle a current of 50A both when storing energy into the batteries (charging) and when supplying energy from the batteries (discharging).

Testimonials

“We are delighted with our Luxpower system. We have recommended this system to our friends with confidence. We are absolutely confident that we have an excellent battery storage solution that it is performing exactly as we hoped it would”

John Smallwood, Leicester

“We just have a 12 panel system which we have had for 8 years. We have had a Luxpower battery storage system fitted and now we save all the daytime extra power which keeps us going in the evenings. The install was done by lunchtime, and we have the monitoring to check the system, although the screen on the unit is very clear .”

John d’Angibau, Colchester

Our new solar system was installed using a Luxpower inverter and 3 Greenlinx batteries. The installers set it all up in our loft space and the batteries are mounted underneath the Luxpower unit. It was really very simple, we were given a password to access the monitoring, and we can see everyday how the power is going into the batteries. At the moment we have plenty of extra power in the daytime – we had a 16 panels system installed – and this power is keeping us going every evening.”
