Lux power have launched an new FREE weather compensation tool to assist customer looking to optimise charging from other cheap energy sources alongside harvesting solar power.
Our feedback from end customers is that they love all the charging features available with the Luxpower systems, but the one thing missing was the ability to limit the charge according to the following day’s weather. So actually although you may be on cheap electricity, if you fill up overnight with cheap, when the weather is bright the following day you may not have any capacity for the free electricity from your solar.
The solution is a package which will target the following day’s weather according to postcode, and grade it from Clear Sky to Heavy rain with around 6 weather descriptions in between. You can the select percentages that you would like your batteries to be charged to according to that band of weather. You can adjust it as frequently as you wish to increase or decrease the level of charge according to that weather band.
The platform is free to add (your system will need to have the Luxpower monitoring set up. Simply email technical@infinityinnovations.co.uk and provide your system serial number along with your postcode and the extremely helpful technical support team will add this for you.
